Hello Taborvilla Families,
Our spring baseball and softball season is right around the corner and we need you to register! The deadline for registration is February 28th. Please register ASAP to help us forecast and plan for a successful start to the season. If your player receives WIC, SNAP or Medicaid benefits they could be eligible to play for free through the T-Mobile Call Up Grant. Go here to apply and for more details. The grant opens this Thursday, January 15th.
All players age 9 and up, or wanting to play Minors division and up are required to attend one assessment session on either March 1st 2pm-4pm or March 8th 10am-12pm.** Once you are registered, your player will be eligible for preseason training clinics with Taborvilla. Look for details soon.
We want you to coach with Taborvilla! Every season we need volunteers to give our players the best season possible. We have strong coaching resources so that we can train and support our coaches throughout the season.
We have a family friendly league information night February 11th 6:00-8:00 at Dingo’s Sports Pub on Stark across from the batting cages. We'll be there answering all your burning Little League questions. Come say hi!
We are currently planning our field improvement projects for the year and are hoping to upgrade some of our dugouts, particularly at H-2 and our T-Ball field. We also plan to extend the infield of the T-Ball field by about 5 feet with the intention of utilizing it for Minors Coach Pitch practices. We are finding innovative ways to adapt our resources to accommodate our growing league! Mark your calendars for a community field day on March 29th. (There will be a second date for community field work TBD once opening day is announced by the district). We need as many volunteers as possible to help make the complex shine. Mark it on your calendar!
