Hello Taborvilla families,
I hope you’ve had a fun start to your season. We’ve had great weather to kick things off. The smiles and enthusiasm on opening day were amazing, and I hope they’ve continued.
One of the things that makes evenings at the ballpark so fun is our amazing snack shack. Whenever we have home games at our main field, Mike Nine, we open the snack shack.
This season, the teams playing on Mike Nine field are:
-
Minors baseball on Tuesdays
-
Farms baseball on Wednesdays
-
Majors baseball on Thursdays
-
Everyone on Saturdays
If your team is playing a home game at Mike Nine field, it is your team’s responsibility to operate the snack shack. This is normally the duty of the team parent to organize volunteers to staff the snack shack. If you are a team parent or coach and have not been trained, or your team is not operating the snack shack during home games at Mike Nine, please reach out to our snack shack coordinator, Sandra Christopherson, or team parent coordinator, Kevin Coles, for training. Thanks for helping us to keep everything running smooth.
I want to give a huge shout out to Taborvilla parent Ashley Anderson and her employer Don Tankersley Construction. They provided a generous donation of two commercial grade doors and labor to help keep our snack shack secure and looking great. In the past 3 years we have had 3 incidents of theft that left our doors heavily damaged. Thanks a bunch Don Tankersley Construction! You can check out their beautiful work here.
Lastly, thanks for supporting your player this season. Try to play as much ball at home as possible and watch baseball and softball games together as a family. If you want help with anything to support your baseball player, you can always reach out to me personally at [email protected].
See you on the diamond 💪⚾️🥎
