Dear Local Business Manager/Owner:
Youth sports are changing fast. Pay-to-play, year-round, single-sport focused clubs are becoming more and more popular. However, the expense and time commitment required for these types of clubs create barriers for lower-income and working families. In addition, club sports have an almost singular focus on developing profitable athletes, rather than on encouraging teamwork, fostering a sense of community, and having fun.
Local Little Leagues, like Taborvilla, have always focused on creating fond memories, inspiring a love of baseball, inclusivity, and enjoyment. Our all volunteer league was established in 1952 and we need support from local businesses like yours to level the playing field & help us bring the joy of baseball to anyone who wants to play.
We are so looking forward to our upcoming 2025 season! We had a great 2024 season, which included our spring season, all-stars and fall ball programs. We have also made a major investment in improving our fields this offseason renovating our Farm and Tee-Ball fields and can’t wait to show them off next spring. Our league has also started offering coaching clinics to our volunteers to improve our players' experience. Our Sponsors make this all possible.
The league has an all new executive board full of dedicated parents, community members, and volunteer coaches who can’t wait to start playing ball.
In addition to helping the league, sponsorship is also a great marketing opportunity for your business. Our second-tier option (the “Double”) includes a banner at local Harrison Park field. The next level of sponsorship (the “Triple”), includes your company’s name on one team’s uniforms so your support will be seen no matter where that team plays! The “Home Run” includes your name on hats plus jerseys and new this year is a “Grand Slam” which allows you to sponsor all of our T-ball teams! All of our sponsorship options are attached to this letter.
We are thrilled with any support—from an in-kind donation to one of our tiered options. If you have questions about sponsorship or other ways you can support your local Little League, please email me at: [email protected]
Sincerely,
Colin Moore
